Counterparty diligence

All counterparties — sponsors, offtakers, intermediaries — are screened through a tiered KYC and AML process before capital is committed. We rely on accredited identity, beneficial ownership, and corporate registry sources, and refresh on a defined cadence.

Sanctions screening

Transactions are screened against U.S. OFAC, EU, UK HMT, and UN consolidated sanctions lists. Watch-list hits are escalated and blocked until cleared by compliance review. We do not transact in jurisdictions or with entities prohibited under applicable law.

Responsible sourcing

For tin, tungsten, tantalum, and gold sourced from conflict-affected and high-risk areas, we align our diligence to the OECD Due Diligence Guidance and reference U.S. Dodd-Frank §1502 and the forthcoming EU Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) where applicable to our counterparties.

ESG posture

We finance projects and operators that demonstrate credible environmental, safety, and community frameworks proportionate to their stage and jurisdiction. Material gaps are surfaced in diligence and addressed in covenants where appropriate.

Enterprise SSO & access controls

Lankford Metals supports enterprise single sign-on (SSO) for counterparty, advisor, and institutional access to deal-specific data rooms and document exchanges. Supported standards include SAML 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC), with provisioning available via SCIM 2.0 on request. Compatible identity providers include Okta, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Google Workspace, OneLogin, Ping Identity, and other SAML- or OIDC-conformant IdPs.

Access is governed by least-privilege, role-based controls; transport is TLS 1.2+; sessions are time-bound and revocable. Enterprise SSO is provisioned per engagement — contact compliance@lankfordmetals.com to coordinate IdP metadata exchange.
